Tomi Rikhotso, born in 1991 in Chiawelo, Soweto, grew up in Protea Glen before moving to Sharpeville in the Vaal. With his mother being a dressmaker, he learned to sew using a machine from a young age, fostering his passion for fashion and the arts.
After completing his matric, Tomi Rikhotso ventured into crafting and selling bags. His talent caught the eye of someone who assisted him in securing a fashion design learnership. In 2012, Tomi R Creations was born, and from these humble origins, the brand flourished. He gained recognition, dressing celebrities, and showcasing his exquisite designs on the red carpet at prestigious events.
